
This is great news for the deaf and hard of hearing in Israel. In the US, we still have yet to see this kind of service. Being that texting is way more common nowadays than TTY, and more convenient too, government agencies should take that into consideration and facilitate the use of texting to contact emergency services. Most use e-mail; why not texting?
